International Film Nights are Back!
Film nights are back at the library on Thursdays. Every week, we’ll be showing stellar, award-winning international films from recent years. Coffee, tea, and dessert will be served.
October 10– In 2006, as Bhutan prepares to transition to a democratic government, a young monk is instructed to procure firearms in preparation for the impending upheaval. The monk crosses paths with an American visitor in his search for an antique rifle.
October 17 – Teacher Carla Nowak decides to get involved when one of her students is suspected of theft. Caught between her ideals and the school system, the consequences of her actions threaten to break her.
