They usually offer around 10 weeks of summer programming, and their programs feature endless age-appropriate activities and opportunities to try new things, build confidence, and create lifelong memories. Weekly themes for day camps include Harry Potter, Pokemon, Super Heroes, and Olympics. Specialty blocks such as horseback, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing can also be added depending on your child’s interests.

Boys & Girls Club Mashpee

Located in Mashpee

The Boys & Girls Club is a field trip-based summer day camp with 9 weeks of programming. Kids from 1st grade to 9th grade are welcome and will find age-appropriate and exciting activities including arts & crafts, games & recreation, and outdoor activities. Field trips include nature hikes, beach days and visits to areas of interest both on and off the Cape. All groups have at least one group trip, a theme-based on-site day and a camp-wide beach day. Activities and outings may include: Six Flags, Boston Science Museum, Sky Zone, and kayaking.

Camp Farley

Camp Farley is a small, family-oriented camp that offers a daily program for day and overnight campers typically consisting of five activities. The first three activities are predetermined to provide a well-balanced variety of experiences throughout the week. Primary activities include a daily free swim along with a combination of arts, recreation, and nature programs throughout the week. Depending on their age, campers also enjoy at least one archery, canoeing, and barnyard activity as part of this weekly formula. Songs, skits, and announcements are often integrated during transitional periods between activities and during snack times. The camp runs for 7 weeks during each summer.

Cape Cod Academy Summer Programs

Located in Osterville

These programs are sanctioned by the Department of Public Health in the Town of Barnstable. Their team of experienced summer instructors offers high energy, educational, and fun activities for all ages.

There are a wide range of activities for kids to enjoy no matter their interests, and they may choose from the following program categories: Sports & Fitness, Swim, Educational, and Enrichment. In these categories are varied specific activities such as chess, journalism,swimmercise, game design, LEAP speed camp, cooking around the world, and lacrosse camp. Most of these are half day classes, and with the wide selection, you are sure to find something any kid will love!

Falmouth Academy Summer Camp

Located in Falmouth

This camp lasts for eight weeks in Falmouth. Situated on a beautiful campus a mile from the ocean and adjacent to 300 acres of conservation land in Beebe Woods, this idyllic location is the site for engaging programming for every child, ages 5 through 16.

Camp Mariner is designed specifically for the youngest campers, (ages 5-7) and is patterned after a traditional summer camp experience. A dedicated staff (ratio 1:6) engages campers in a rotation of activities such as arts and crafts, music, cooperative games, and outdoor adventure, among many others. Special “theme days” are featured in each session.

Heritage Museum

Located in Sandwich

This camp features bright, modern, air-conditioned classrooms for STEM-focused weekly programs that allow children to question scientists, use technology as a tool, be creative engineers, and think like mathematicians. The goal is to teach children to wonder, play, question, explore, discover and learn together while developing the habits of mind that assure superior success in school and in the 21st century as engaged and productive citizens. Heritage Museums & Gardens becomes a second classroom with daily adventures throughout the grounds and to the museums. The daily schedule is planned to be 50% indoors and 50% outside.

Green Briar

Located in Sandwich

This camp runs for 7 weeks for ages 4-7. Here, children will develop a love for nature and science through sensory exploration, hikes, and open ended art projects, while uncovering mysteries of the natural world around Green Briar Nature Center. Kids will learn through interactive activities like hikes, creative crafts, and science experiments. The camp seeks to inspire appreciation, understanding and stewardship of our natural environment and wildlife, through discovery and learning.

Mid Cape Hoop School

Located in Monomoy & Yarmouth

There are 4 sessions throughout July (first 2 in Monomoy), with both whole and half day options. This summer day camp focuses on individual attention, discipline, sportsmanship and ability-level-grouping will provide a love of the game, skill development and the motivation to work on the techniques

This weekly basketball camp for elementary, junior high, and high school athletes is staffed by college coaches, high school coaches, and professional coaches and offers instruction and basketball games for all participants.

Brewster Day Camp

Brewster Day Camp is a traditional New England co-educational summer day camp on Cape Cod serving girls and boys ages 3-16 years old. They specialize in helping children find their own voice through creative play, social coaching, and physical skill building in a wide range of activities including art, archery, biking, boating, camp fires, environmental education, field sports, horseback riding, golf, low ropes course challenges, tennis, theater, sailing, Stand Up Paddle boarding, trips, and more!

BDC offers Semi-Private Swim Lessons to campers enrolled in BDC programming. Certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructors coach kids for ½ hour of dedicated swim instruction after the camp day, from 1:00-1:30. These lessons are offered in addition to regularly scheduled, mandatory morning swim lessons for all BDC campers. Semi-Private Swim Lessons are taught rain or shine.

Wingate*Kirkland

Located in Yarmouth Port

Camp Wingate*Kirkland is not your average summer camp. It’s a wildly fun and radically welcoming co-ed summer camp that offers overnight camp for children ages 7-16 and day camp for ages 4-12. Kids love the positive and vibrant W*K culture. With over 20 different options to choose from for each period, campers have the opportunity to try a full range of traditional camp activities and also some zany stuff like Potions with Professor Scott, Mailman Training, Tennis Baseball, Zombie Hunters, and Intense Sandcastle Building.
