Since his family came to Cape Cod in 1998. It was initially known as the Cape Cod Brewhouse, then the Hyannisport Brewing Company, later the Hyport Brewing Company, and finally the Cape Cod Brewhouse.
In December of 2003, Todd was laid off at the failing Hyport restaurant brewery. He finally returned to the business’s owner and requested to brew beer on the equipment that was not in use. In April of 2004, they reached an agreement, and Cape Cod Beer was born.

Cape Cod Beer offers you a guided tour once every Saturday from 11 am to 12 am. The tour begins in the tasting room, taking you through the brewhouse, grain room, production facility, and back to the tasting room with the help of a knowledgeable brew crew member.
