La Tavola – A night of Italian food, drinks, and music under the stars!
Come join the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce for a night of Italian food, drinks, and music under the stars! La Tavola, Mashpee’s annual summer celebration, is a magical event that takes place from five to nine on Friday, August 27th. This year is the 15th year of the event, and tickets are going fast! After a virtual year in 2020, organizers are excited to be back in person again this year, like last year.
Every year Steeple Street, which passes in front of the Mashpee Library, is transformed into a fine dining experience reminiscent of Little Italy. La Tavola features a five course Italian feast catered by Villaggio Ristorante
. While diners enjoy the meal they are serenaded by Aaron Aruso, an Italian Tenor. He is accompanied by acclaimed accordionist, Corey Pesaturo, as well. Guests will also love the performances from Steeple Street Music Academy students. The environment is fun, festive, and well worth the cost of a ticket.
Tickets cost $75 a piece, though tickets should be purchased by group to assure proper seating. So a if their are 6 in your party, you want to purchase all tickets together so that you will be seated together. The dinner is increased this year to accommodate 400 guests.
Volunteers make the event possible, helping to organize, bartend, serve the meal, and more! Proceeds from La Tavola benefit the Mashpee Chamber
Scholarship Fund and their #shopmashpee campaign. In case of rain, the event can be held in the “Christ the King Church” auditorium, the largest church facility in the town of Mashpee.
Before or after enjoying the meal on the closed off Steeple Street, enjoy shopping in Mashpee Commons. The wide range of stores in the village-like setting is perfect for a range of shoppers and is a perfect way to spend the day!
