What are the HyArts Artist Shanties?
The HyArts Artist Shanties are a unique and vibrant art market located in the scenic Hyannis Harbor in Massachusetts. All About Renting the Snack Shack
While operating hours are suggested to be from 11 am to 6 pm to coincide with the Artist Shanties, vendors are welcome to propose alternative hours. The rental fee for the facility is $100, and vendors must pay a $50 fee for the required temporary food service permit for each week rented. Limited grant funds are also available to food vendors with three or fewer years of experience.
Food Restrictions
Keep in mind that there are restrictions on what you can sell at the Snack Shack. You can sell pre-packaged foods or foods that require minimal assembly, but there is no cooking allowed on the premises. For foods requiring assembly, you’ll need to attend a Board of Health meeting to present your application. Additionally, vendors participating in multiple weeks must submit a temporary food permit for each week they’re operating.
