Brewster Conservation Day(s) (Drummer Boy Park) July 13, 2024

Don’t miss Cape Cod’s biggest Conservation Fair with activities and events from 9:30am – 1:30pm for the entire family. This year’s theme “TREES: Superheroes of the Natural World” celebrates trees and the many ways they contribute to protecting our planet and enriching our lives.

While you are at Drummer Boy Park, take the tie to tour the historic blacksmith shop and the windmill, see a fishing weir, and enjoy some Brewster oysters.

Barnstable County Fair ( E. Falmouth) July 22-28, 2024

The Barnstable County Fair is a summer staple on Cape Cod, not to be missed. From thrilling rides to the world’s largest Demolition Derby this is a spectacular summer event.

The whole family will love the amusing ground shows, sumptuous fair foods, and all of the traditional county fair hallmarks like 4H demos, petting zoos, livestock, and an impressive display of vegetables, crafts and Americana.

Family week in P’Town (Provincetown) – July 27-August 3, 2024

Woods Hole Film Festival (Woods Hole, Falmouth & Cotuit) – July 27-August 3, 2024

The Woods Hole Film Festival is an eight day showcase of independent films, featuring daily screenings, workshops, panel discussions, special events, master classes, parties, awards ceremony and more. Individual Tickets go on sale starting July 1st.

Provincetown Music Series – Most Sundays in July you can see a wide variety of performers at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House. July’s performances include:

  • July 16th- Curtain Up!~ Songs from Broadway musicals
  • July 23rd-A Thousand Golden Strings~Baroque music
  • July 30th-The Sound of Hyannis~ Cape Cod’s finest a cappella

Mondays:

Yarmouth Summer Concert Series – Head over to Parkers River Beach in Yarmouth to enjoy live music every Monday in the month of July(and August!). Bring a blanket or a chair to enjoy this free live music. Shows run from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm and feature a wide variety of bands and music genres. Natalia Bonfini will perform on July 8th.

Yappy Hour – Dogs need entertainment too! Every Monday in July, Cape Cod Beer host a “Yappy Hour” from 4 pm to 6 pm in their beer garden in Hyannis. Your dog is required to stay on a leash and should be comfortable meeting new furry friends!

Wednesdays:

Movies Under the Stars in Falmouth Village – Mosey over to Falmouth Public Library every Wednesday this summer, starting July 19 for an outdoor movie. The double features will offer a family-friendly film at 6PM with something for the older crowd at 8. The movies start at dusk, and the schedule can be found on their Facebook page.

Thursdays:

West African Drumming on the Hyannis Village Green – Every Thursday evening from July 11- August 22nd at 6-7:30pm , this Drumming Class is open to all, no experience necessary. You can bring your own drums, percussion, pots and pans or whatever you can express yourself with, be it percussion, sousaphone, Alto-gloop, stringed instruments, African drums, Caribbean drums, Asian drums, Native-American drums, Middle-eastern drums, Digeridoos and everything in between.

Summer Movie Night at Mashpee Commons– Summer Movie Night on the big screen is back! Every Thursday evening from July 11th to August 22nd, join us for free, family-friendly movie nights on the Village Green across from the Mashpee Library.

Fridays:

History on Tap at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum – Most Friday evenings in July from 5-7pm, join local guest historians to learn about Cape Cod maritime history and drink some hops. Check their website for updated schedule.

Saturdays:

stony brookStony Brook Factory Village Gristmill and Museum (Brewster) – the mill and museum are both open from open 10 am until 2pm. See the millworks in motion and learn about Factory Village and 19th Century Brewster life. Tour the scenic footpaths beside Stony Brook, leading to the herring run. Great family activity with free admission. (No dogs.)

Join them on Saturday July 27th for the Indian Pudding Party to sample this traditional New England treat made with their fresh ground cornmeal. The fresh-ground cornmeal will also be available for purchase.

Juggle Jams (Eastham) – Payomet Cirque By The Sea is hosting a free weekly demo and workshop at T-Time in Eastham that is fun for the whole family, no matter what your experience level is. Every Saturday from 4-7pm you are invited to show up and be entertained as well as challenged!
